Mu Pharmacy is a Malawian digital health platform that connects retail pharmacies, wholesale suppliers, private clinics, and patients into one real-time ecosystem.
When a medicine is available somewhere in the system, Mu Pharmacy makes that visible to whoever needs it. Patients stop travelling pharmacy to pharmacy. Clinicians stop making phone calls. Stock moves to where it is needed.
The name comes from Mulantho, a Chichewa word for bridge. That is what we are.

Patients travel. Guardians leave hospital beds. Clinicians interrupt patient care to make phone calls. Medicines expire in one warehouse while another pharmacy runs dry.
The pharmaceutical market in Malawi is worth an estimated USD 80 to 165 million annually. The coordination layer holding it together is still largely WhatsApp messages. There is no integrated national platform for real-time medicine availability.

Founder and CEO
Kondwani is a qualified pharmacist with an MBA in Health Management. His career spans hospital pharmacies, community pharmacies, and pharmaceutical supply environments — including patient counselling, stock management, pharmacovigilance, and pharmaceutical data collection.
He founded Mu Pharmacy after watching patients and guardians lose hours every day searching for medicines that existed somewhere in the system, just not where they needed them.
